Character Education

Fostering Positive Character Traits is an Essential Part of Student Growth

Volunteer in your child’s classroom leading a discussion, reading a book, role playing, or even doing skits and puppet shows that relate to each month's character trait: Responsibility, Generosity, Gratitude, Respect, Forgiveness, Honesty, Compassion, Cooperation, Perseverance, and Loyalty.  Easy-to-follow lesson plans for each grade are on the Character Education website.  Each classroom needs one or two volunteers, as this is a job that can be shared.
